Dharmashri Translation Group

In order to preserver the Dharma, translate teachings and texts, bridge the gap between teachers and students and create awareness of the authentic view of Dharma among practitioners, Mindrolling International has formed and supports the Dharmashri Translation Group. This organization aims towards providing access for practitioners to receive teachings from the wisdom of all the different traditions within Tibetan Buddhism.

To this end, Dharmashri has brought out the Dharmashri Journal with pithy articles by contemporary Tibetan Buddhist masters from all schools and lineages, was well as their unabridged responses to reader’s questions. Dharmashri is also involved intranslations and archiving of texts and works closely with the Mindrolling Shedra and the western sangha. Dharmashri also hopes to extend its activity by establishing a youth group aimed towards bringing together the young Buddhists and working together with them in preserving and promoting the dharma.

The Dharmashri Translation Group is named after the illustrious scholar, Lochen Dharmashri. The group’s activities are headed by Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Dechen Paldron, youngest daughter of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen and sister of Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche.
